Burglary.

Officers continue to take proactive action to prevent burglary and theft across the ward. Regular patrols are carried out in areas identified through local intelligence and concerns raised by residents. Officers also remain alert to suspicious activity and will speak with people found in circumstances that give cause for concern to help prevent crime and provide reassurance to the community. This ongoing activity helps deter offending, gather information and keep local neighbourhoods safe.

Fly tipping.

Officers continue to work with partner agencies to tackle fly-tipping and environmental crime. No incidents of fly-tipping have been reported in the area during this reporting period. Where concerns are raised elsewhere, officers work closely with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council to review information, identify those responsible and support enforcement action where appropriate.

Road safety issues.

Officers continue to work with local partners to address road safety concerns and improve the local environment. Joint visits have been carried out with the local authority to identify measures that could help reduce speeding and improve safety. Previous concerns about parking have also been addressed through partnership working, resulting in a significant reduction in reports. Officers will continue to work with partners to identify and address issues that affect the safety of local residents.
