Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.
We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.
We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.
My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

Catapults.
Issued 22 July 2026
The local officer remains committed to tackling crime and antisocial behaviour across the rural communities and neighbouring wards. As well as taking enforcement action where needed, she works closely with individuals who have been identified as being involved in these issues, offering advice and support to help prevent further offending. Information from local residents continues to play an important role in this work, and the community is encouraged to keep reporting incidents and concerns. These reports help officers identify those responsible, target resources effectively and address problems before they escalate.

Road safety.
Issued 22 July 2026
The local officer continues to carry out speed checks across the area to help improve road safety and address concerns raised by residents. Using local knowledge of the rural road network, speed enforcement activity is focused on locations where it is likely to have the greatest impact. Drivers found exceeding the speed limit may be dealt with through prosecution or educational schemes designed to increase awareness of the dangers speeding poses to other road users. This ongoing work helps make roads safer for everyone who lives, works and travels through the area.
