The local officer continues to support road safety across the area by carrying out regular speed checks at locations where concerns have been raised by residents. Using knowledge of the local road network, enforcement activity is focused on areas where speeding is most likely to pose a risk to the community. Drivers found exceeding the speed limit may be prosecuted or offered educational courses to help them better understand the dangers of speeding and the impact it can have on other road users. Through a combination of enforcement and education, this ongoing work aims to make local roads safer for everyone.

Officers work closely with local authorities and partner agencies to monitor reports of fly-tipping and identify any locations that experience repeat incidents. Where problem areas are identified, police will support efforts to deter offending, gather information and assist with investigations into those responsible. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting fly-tipping to the appropriate authority, as these reports help build a clearer picture of the issue and enable action to be taken where necessary. Regular reporting is key to helping partners target resources and address ongoing concerns within the community.
