about

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.

We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.

We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.

My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Road safety issues.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer continues to carry out regular speed enforcement activity across the area, focusing on locations where concerns about speeding have been raised. Using her knowledge of the local road network, she identifies suitable sites for speed checks and works to address issues that pose a risk to road users. Drivers found exceeding the speed limit may be considered for prosecution or offered educational opportunities to help them better understand the dangers of speeding and the impact it can have on the safety of others. This ongoing work supports efforts to make roads safer for everyone in the community.

  • Priority:

    Dog fouling.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to work closely with local authorities to address this issue and support efforts to reduce its impact on the community. Residents are encouraged to report concerns to the appropriate organisation, as this helps ensure they are investigated by the agency best placed to take action. Information provided by the public also helps partners build a clearer picture of local issues and target resources where they are needed most.

  • Priority:

    Fly tipping.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers work closely with local authorities and partner agencies to monitor reports of fly-tipping and identify any recurring problem locations. Where patterns emerge, police will support efforts to deter and investigate those responsible, working alongside partners to address the issue. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting fly-tipping to the appropriate authority, as these reports help build a clearer picture of the problem and enable action to be taken where necessary.
