about

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.

We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.

We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.

My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Drug dealing.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer continues to work proactively to identify and address this type of criminal and antisocial behaviour. Working alongside colleagues and specialist teams, regular patrols are carried out in locations where concerns have been reported to help deter offending, identify those responsible and take appropriate action. Information from the public plays a vital role in this work, and residents are encouraged to continue reporting any concerns or suspicious activity. These reports help officers build a clearer picture of local issues and target resources where they are needed most.

  • Priority:

    E-scooters.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer continues to monitor the use of e-scooters across the area and is working to identify those using them illegally or in a way that causes nuisance to others. While relatively few issues have been reported in recent months, information from the public remains essential in helping officers take action. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting the illegal or antisocial use of e-scooters, as this information can help identify repeat offenders, support enquiries and guide future enforcement activity.

    Actioned 30 September 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorbikes.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer is working closely with colleagues from neighbouring areas to address issues involving nuisance motorbikes, including both on-road and off-road bikes being used in a way that causes antisocial behaviour. Regular patrols and targeted activity are carried out to deter offending, identify those responsible and take appropriate action where offences are detected. Information from local residents is invaluable in helping officers build intelligence and identify repeat offenders, and the public are encouraged to continue reporting incidents and providing any information that may assist enquiries.

    Actioned 30 September 2026
