The table demonstrates there has been marginal reductions in the proportion of female Chief Officers, superintendents and inspectors. However, there have been significant increases in the proportion of chief superintendents and chief inspectors as well as marginal increases in sergeants and constables. With regards to senior leadership roles, there are a total of 108 chief inspectors and above, of which, 42 are female. This equates to 38.89% and represents an increase when compared to 31 March 2024 (34/33.03%). The increase in proportions of female constables reflects the recent success in recruiting new female officers.
