The following table shows the rank breakdown by gender for staff as at 31st March 2025 by headcount and percentage and the position when compared to the previous year. All Kent Staff roles are set against a specific grade as set out below:

The table demonstrates that the proportion of female staff who are H grade and above has increased marginally to 50.57%. The most notable reduction is seen in grade A where female representation has reduced from 45.61% to 40.00%. There have also been minor reductions in the proportion of female staff in grades D and C, however, there still remains a higher proportion of females overall in these grades compared to males. There has been an increase across all other grades.
