Action taken:
E-scooters and e-bikes continue to be seized in the Victoria Ward. There has been an increased visible patrolling in Victoria Park following reports from residents. We encourage residents to keep reporting the use of illegal e-scooters and e-bikes or where they ride in an ant-social manner.

Theft - shoplifting.
Action taken:
Officers continue to work with local businesses to tackle shoplifting and reduce retail crime. Regular engagement with retailers helps officers identify offenders, gather intelligence and take appropriate action where offences have been committed. This partnership approach has contributed to a significant reduction in shoplifting offences over the last 3 months.
Officers also use measures such as Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices to address repeat offending and help prevent further incidents. Through ongoing engagement, enforcement and information sharing, officers continue to support local businesses and help keep the town centre a safe place to shop and visit.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
Action taken:
Following reports of antisocial behaviour, officers attended an address in New Street, Ashford.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs after around 100 to 150 wraps of cocaine were found. The investigation has suspected links to county lines activity.
We are working with partner agencies to prevent further criminal activity and to ensure support is available for anyone who may be vulnerable.
One male has been charged to court. Officers will work with the landlord to prevent further issues at the address.
