We have carried out targeted patrols across identified hotspot locations using both marked and unmarked police vehicles. We have seized a number of bikes being used unlawfully and taken enforcement action where offences have been identified. Intelligence gathering remains a key focus and information provided by residents continues to help us identify offenders and plan future operations.

Road safety.
Issued 21 July 2026
Officers continue to work with local residents, developers and partner organisations to improve road safety and reduce vehicle-related antisocial behaviour. Drivers identified committing minor offences have been spoken to and given advice about safe and considerate driving and the impact their actions can have on the community.
Following concerns raised by residents, a detailed review of problem locations identified a number of environmental factors that may be contributing to road safety issues and nuisance vehicle use. Recommendations have been made to improve these areas, including measures to reduce unauthorised access and discourage antisocial vehicle activity. Officers will continue to work with partners to deliver long-term improvements and help keep the area safe for residents.

Nuisance vehicles.
Issued 21 July 2026
Officers have conducted regular patrols, dedicated days of action and joint drive-rounds with local councillors to identify and tackle problem areas.
This proactive work has resulted in several vehicle seizures, arrests for associated offences and the development of significant intelligence to support future enforcement. We will continue to target those responsible and work with our partners to reduce nuisance vehicle activity, improve the quality of life for residents and make Kemsley a safer place for everyone.
